Allegheny Power serves the county with a system of transmission and distribution lines of various voltages connected to its generating stations. The City of Hagerstown distributes electricity to many parts of the city.
Fuels: Industrial coal and fuel oil by tank, car, or truck are available.
Gas: Columbia Gas of Maryland, Inc., services the area with natural gas. Propane is also readily available.
