The Maryland Broadband Cooperative’s intelligent network is among the most advanced in the country. More than 95 percent of all access lines are served by state-of-the-art digital technology and all governmental offices are diversely linked via fiber-optic facilities.
AT&T, Sprint and Verizon have Points of Presence within the county. Washington County is well served and several options are available for broadband services. Cellular telephone services are available through private local and regional vendors.
