Driving Directions to the
EDC Office

From Baltimore/Washington D.C. Metro Area and points East:

Follow Interstate 270 North to Interstate 70 West. Follow Interstate 70 West to U.S. Route 40 West (Exit 32-B). Proceed west on U.S. Route 40, which becomes Franklin Street (going one way west) as you enter the City of Hagerstown. Proceed through town. Get in the left lane when you cross Jonathan Street. Turn left onto Prospect Street (next block after Jonathan Street). At the next light, turn left onto West Washington Street. The Washington County Administration Building will be on your left. The EDC Office is located in this building on the first floor. Park along West Washington Street or in the parking lot behind the Administration Building.

From points West:

Follow Interstate 70 East to the intersection of Interstate 81. Take Interstate 81 North to U.S. 40 East (Exit 6). Proceed east on U.S. Route 40, which becomes Washington Avenue and then Washington Street (going one way east) as you enter the City of Hagerstown. Proceed through town. Get in the left lane when you cross Prospect Street. The Washington County Administration Building will be on your left. The EDC Office is located in this building on the first floor. Park along West Washington Street or in the parking lot behind the Administration Building.

From Points North (Pennsylvania Turnpike, Carlisle, PA; Harrisburg, PA; etc.):

Take Interstate 81 South to U.S. Route 40 East (Exit 6). Proceed east on U.S. Route 40, which becomes Washington Avenue and then Washington Street (going one way east) as you enter the City of Hagerstown. Proceed through town. From Hagerstown Regional Airport:

Turn right when exiting the airport onto Showalter Road. Take Interstate 81 South to U.S. Route 40 East (Exit 6). Proceed east on U.S. Route 40, which becomes Washington Avenue and then Washington Street (going one way east) as you enter the City of Hagerstown. Proceed through town.
