Finalists for Washington County Business Awards Named
Event set for Feb. 24 in the Hager Hall Grand Ballroom
The finalists have been named for the eleventh annual Washington County Business Awards, which will be held Wednesday, February 24th at the Hager Hall Grand Ballroom in Hagerstown, Maryland.
The black-tie optional event will begin with a cocktail reception at 5:00 p.m. followed by a banquet dinner at 6:00 p.m. After dinner, NBC 25’s Pieter Bickford will emcee the awards ceremony.
Following the awards ceremony, comedic hypnotist Dr. Jon Taylor will entertain the audience by hypnotizing local celebrities. Dr. Jon Taylor entertains audiences from 30 to 30,000 people or more with a clean and fun hypnosis show that is high-energy and upscale. A certified hypnotist, hypnotherapist and minister, Dr.Jon makes people laugh without compromising anyone’s dignity. Comedy hypnosis is one of Dr. Jon M. Taylor’s greatest passions, but it came after a journey of amazing achievements that has made him not only a compassionate speaker and teacher, but also someone who can create a fun, safe atmosphere where everyone feels valued.
The event is co-hosted by the Hagerstown-Washington County Chamber of Commerce and the Hagerstown-Washington County Economic Development Commission. Top business and community leaders in Washington County, with special guests from state and federal governments, will be in attendance.
Invitations were mailed. In addition, the public is invited to attend through pre-registration. The reception, dinner, awards ceremony, and entertainment costs $45 per person. Tables of 10 are available for $450.

Awarded to a Washington County retail or service business for undertaking actions that generate customer loyalty and satisfaction.

Awarded to a Washington County Business that has demonstrated product or service quality, innovation, strong community involvement, high standards in business practice, commitment to Washington County and the community and that has established a successful business in Washington County.

Nonprofit Impact
Recognizes and honors a local 501c3 organization that improves the lives of those it serves. The recipient receives an unrestricted grant of $1,000, made possible by the Community Foundation of Washington County, MD. Eligible companies must be recognized by the IRS as a 501c3 organization and staff an office in Washington County.
