(Hagerstown, MD — February 11, 2008) Microtech Solutions, owned by Edward and Cindy Bockhoefer of Smithsburg, MD, has signed a lease for a new center for operations at Fort Ritchie at Cascade. Located in the former Fort Ritchie military base, the company is utilizing 1500 sf in Building 607.
Microtech Solutions is an electronic engineering and software design firm. They have plans for significant growth. Microtech began as a one-person operation and will now employ five people. “It is a welcomed change from working out of our smaller office in Smithsburg,” says Ed Bockhoefer, President of Microtech Solutions. “We now have space for growth in the Fort Ritchie building.” The company is co-located at 607 Lakeside Drive with Indus Corporation, a Vienna, VA based Information Technology firm.
“We are very excited to have Microtech Solutions at Fort Ritchie. We wish them success at this new location and look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with them,” said Bill Hofmann, Sr. Property and Environmental Services Manager for Corporate Office Properties Trust at Fort Ritchie.
