(Hagerstown, MD — February 7, 2008) Ryan & Associates, a Frederick-based professional engineering design service, has signed a lease for their second center for operations. Located on Howell Road off South Edgewood Drive in Hagerstown, the company is utilizing 1600 sf in the Fox Deceived Building and plans to open the office by April 1st.
Ryan & Associates specialize in structural and geotechnical engineering services, retaining wall designs, and third party inspections/certifications. They have been operating in Frederick for over ten years. According to Angie Steidl, Business Manager of Ryan & Associates, “We chose this area because there is more development opportunity and the overhead costs are less than Frederick. We have an established client base in Washington County from past projects.” The firm considered sites in Frederick, Thurmont, Cascade, and Waynesboro, PA before making their decision.
